DESCRIPTION

“Waxing Gibbous” was created in 2021 using layers of indigo and teal hand-dyed silk and flashe paint. When held up to light, the piece emanates blue light and the layers beneath are revealed.

WHAT IS A WAXING GIBBOUS?

This moon reflects on the waxing gibbous moon phase, the phase after the first quarter of the moon where more than half of the moon is illuminated. This stage is a time to cultivate and refine ideas before moving forward to the next stage. I believe it is a powerful time to set intentions for manifesting all that you wish to gain.
